This Menuet in A Major, K 15i by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is part of the London Notebook (London, 1765).

This score of Mozart's K 15i is an Urtext edition based on the above-mentioned source.

The title Menuet [Minuet] does NOT appear in the source and is thus editorial.

This work features a binary musical form A-A-B-B.

In accordance with early Classical period performance practice, we suggest that the chords in measures 1-2-3 be played slightly arpeggiated.

Moreover, this score contains suggestions for realizing the ornaments in accordance with the performance practice of the early Classical period.

These ornaments are :

Appoggiaturas (measure 8) : when placed before a dotted note figure, the appogiatura takes up two thirds of the main note's value
Trills (measures 10, 12 and 15) : trills are played on the beat, and they begin on the upper note. More or less repercussions may be added, and an anticipation note may be used (as for the cadential trill in measure 15)

Please note that the dotted slur in measure 12 is editorial and has been added for the sake of uniformity with measure 10.

This menuet is possibly intended to be paired with the following piece in the London Notebook : Andante K 15k.
