The famous Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach was filled with favorite selections of the members of the Bach family.

Although traditionally attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach, this march was probably composed by another (unknown) composer.

This March in E flat Major, BWV Anhang 127 was composed during the Baroque period.

It has a simple A-A-B-B musical form.

This score is an Urtext based on the original manuscripts available.

It contains suggestions for realizing the ornaments in accordance with Baroque performance practice.

These ornaments are :

Cadential trills (measures 9, 17 and 27) : trills are played ON the beat and begin on the upper auxiliary note. As shown in small print in the score, we suggest adding a termination to cadential trills
Trills on repeated notes (measures 12, 14 and 20) : again, these trills are played ON the beat, starting on the upper auxiliary note. However, we suggest no termination here
