This Study Op. 45, No. 41 by Franz Wohlfahrt is a study of long legato phrases written in eighth notes, slurred 8 to a bow, to be played with the whole bow.

It is to be played in the first and third positions.

This study is made up mainly of arpeggios going up and down over the four strings.

It is thus very useful for the violin student who wants to improve his string crossing technique.
