Program Notes on Bridal Chorus (simplified) by Wagner :

This famous Bridal Chorus, also know as Here Comes the Bride, is taken from the romantic opera Lohengrin by Richard Wagner.

As a processional wedding march, it is typically played for the bride's entrance at the beginning of Western wedding ceremonies.

This score is an arrangement for easy piano or organ.

In this shorter version, the central section and coda have been shortened and simplified.

Please note that this Bridal Chorus is also available in its standard (more difficult) version for piano or organ.
