Sullivan, Sir Arthur Seymour

Sir Arthur Seymour Sullivan was an English composer of the Romantic period.
He is best remembered for his operatic collaborations with the dramatist and satirist W. S. Gilbert (1836-1911).
Their partnership produced such ever-popular operettas as H.M.S. Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, and The Mikado.
His parlour song The Lost Chord is also still famous nowadays.
