This minuet was originally written for the harpsichord in the key of G Major.

This score is an arrangement for easy cello with piano accompaniment, to be played in the first and second positions.

Please note that the tempo and dynamics provided in this score are editorial, as the composer himself did not specify any.

Furthermore, the original shows an appoggiatura in measure 8, which we have replaced here with its appropriate interpretation : a quarter note followed by a half note.

According to the custom of the Baroque period, we recommend pairing this minuet with Menuet BWV Anhang 115, also by Christian Petzold.
