This score of Mozart's K 15d is an Urtext edition based on the above-mentioned source.
The title Rondo does NOT appear in the source and is thus editorial.
The following (in small print in the score) are also editorial :
- Measure 8 : D and C, right hand, first beat
- Measure 16 : C# and B natual, right hand, first beat
- Measure 18 : C# in the right hand, and A in the left hand, upper voice
This rondo has an A-B-A musical form.
The first section (A) features a joyful melody over an Alberti bass, while the middle section (B) is written in a contrasting three-voice texture, in the minor mode.
Young Wolfgang was only 8 years old when he composed this rondo!
