This Polka Op. 123, No. 6 by Charles Dancla is a rapid and joyful dance for early-intermediate violin with piano accompaniment.

The violin part can be played entirely in the first position.

The violinist should pay much attention to the dance-like phrasing of this polka.

In particular, Dancla himself recommends to play the eighth notes de la pointe et avec délicatesse [delicately, near the tip of the bow].
