Bach, Johann Christian

German composer of the Classical period.
Johann Christian Bach was the eleventh and youngest son of Johann Sebastian Bach.
Because he lived in England from 1762 until his death, he is sometimes referred to as the London Bach or the English Bach.
Throughout his life, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart expressed much warmth and high esteem for Johann Christian Bach's music.
